Having a voice – a fundamental right, right?

In today’s globalized and highly connected world, more than 50 million people are standing on the outskirts of society for the basic reason of being non-verbal. However, with the rapid technological development, there are many assistive technologies out there to support and empower people with disabilities to become independent and included in society. From the ability to express your feelings and thoughts, to participate in school and getting a job. During this session, Fredrik Ruben, President at the assistive technology company Tobii Dynavox, will talk about the current situation affecting so many individuals, the lack of understanding and knowledge and how to overcome those obstacles in order to empower people with their fundamental right, to have a voice.
